NFL Stadium Rankings: Texas Has One of the Best and One of the Worst

It’s been my favorite sport since I was a little kid and saw my brothers playing and watching football. While I loved to play the sport myself, my talent level took me to playing in high school and that’s where the story ends but I still love the game and spend countless hours each season watching as many games as possible. But when you’re at the game it’s a different experience but when ranking all NFL stadiums how do the stadiums in Texas stack up? 

If you’re reading this, you probably enjoy football as well and know that in Texas we have the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans. Obviously, the Cowboys have a bigger fanbase, but they have been around for a lot longer than the Texans. Beyond the tradition, the Cowboys put more money into their stadium which is why it’s not shocking to hear that the Cowboys have one of the best stadiums in the NFL and the Texans have one of the worst.

NFL Games in Houston Are NOT Bad 

While AT&T Stadium might be nice, NRG Stadium in Houston is still a lot of fun to watch a game. Out of 32 NFL stadiums these rankings from Stadium Talk suggested that NRG Stadium is the 28th best stadium in the league. But the only bad thing they had to say about the stadium was that their team isn’t very exciting to watch. While that might be true in the past, the Texans are building something special with DeMeco Ryans and CJ Stroud. The Texans will be real contenders in the very near future. 

Where did AT&T Stadium Rank? 

Lovingly referred to as “Jerry World” for owner Jerry Jones, the home of the Cowboys did make it to #3 on the rankings of the best NFL stadiums. They finished above the Caesars Superdome where the Saints play in New Orleans. The two stadiums that ranked higher than AT&T Stadium were Lambeau Field for the Packers and Arrowhead Stadium where the Chiefs play.
