How East Texas Deputies Located Carr

East Texas law enforcement determined that Carr was in Anderson County, Texas. That is when the Adams County sheriff’s office coordinated with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and they took Carr into custody.

According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Pennsylvania authorities have confirmed they will extradite Carr from Texas to face charges.

Carr is scheduled to be arraigned on April 16 in the Adams County courthouse. The former mayor resigned his position just weeks into his first term after learning of the initial investigation. Many of the allegations against Carr came from local community theater and school theater groups.

Carr allegedly let his campaign manager know about the allegations over the phone and admitted to sharing inappropriate messages with the victim.
