I love it when a new locally owned business opens in Killeen, Texas - especially when they serve food. We're a melting pot of a community with so much culinary variety, and now we can add "French bakery" to the list.
WHO AND WHAT IS CHIC FRENCH BAKERY IN KILLEEN, TEXAS?
French Chic Bakery is a charming place at 2020 West Stan Schlueter Loop, Suite 112. The best way I think I can describe is as a little slice of French cuisine right here in Killeen.
They work with local and even French suppliers for the ingredients they used to bake and prepare delicious treats like couissants, fruit tart, bread milk, mousse, mille feuille, meringue, brioche, and yes, that beloved French staple the bagauette.

I spoke with the owner a couple of months back when they were first putting Chic French Bakery together, and I assured them that yes, French pastries are something Central Texas definitely needs to experience more of.
The owner told me they're so excited to finally be open and share amazing culinary pastries with the community, and when I browse their menu online, I get excited too. Just look at all these treats.
KILLEEN WELCOMES A LITTLE TASTE OF FRANCE
If you're a sucker for buttery French pastries, this place is going to be heaven on earth for you. Every calorie is definitely worth it.
