Free Ice Cream at CenTX Dairy Queen!

It's back! A free Ice Cream Cone is yours to be had at Dairy Queen today, Tuesday March 15...but the powers that be at DQ need your help in raising funds for Children's Miracle Network.

Free Cone Day is happening at participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill® locations, serving customers a free small vanilla soft-serve cone with the signature curl on top. DQ says limit one per customer, though they say at DQ.com they easily understand the appeal:

"Soft serve is part of the DQ system’s DNA and the taste is unmatchable. The DQ soft-serve cone fans have come to love is one of the most recognized treats in the world. It’s fondly referred to as the “cone with the curl on top.”

What started last year as a celebration of Dairy Queen's 75th Anniversary continues this year as a charitable event. During Free Cone Day, DQ and their restaurants' owners ask you to donate to Children’s Miracle Network. The purpose is to raise funds to help save and improve the lives of kids treated at 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. According to DQ, "Over the last 30 years, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $100 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in local communities."
