Free Halloween Bash at the Bell County Expo Center
Halloween is this Saturday, and if you're planning your day around fun and sweet loot, be sure to add this event to your itinerary.
New Beginnings Learning Academy is hosting a free Halloween Bash at the Bell County Expo Center from Noon to 3PM on October 31st.
Families can enjoy inflatables, games, and treats, and there'll even be prizes for the best costumes so be sure to dress up.
A spokesperson for New Beginnings tells me they decided to make the Halloween Bash a free event so that local families could get out of the house and have a good time without having to feel pressured to pay for anything.
Of course, COVID-19 safety will be a priority, so you're asked to wear a mask if you can. There will be sanitizing stations set up around the event, and rather than have kids reach into buckets to grab their candy, New Beginnings teachers will be handing out the treats. The hope is that everyone can have a great time and feel safe.
As mentioned above, there will be prizes for the best costumes, so show up with your A-game!
Special thanks to Vista Real Estate, Shelby Homes, and Sugar Shack in Salado for helping making this whole thing possible.
However you choose to celebrate Halloween this year, I hope you have a great time, but be sure to make safety a priority. Lay eyes on the candy your kids receive before you let them chomp it all down, and be careful on the streets. Make sure you're visible to drivers as well.
Happy Halloween!
