Fort Hood Soldier’s Pet Dog ‘Noonie’ Finds a Foster Home
Good news for a Fort Hood Soldier and his dog, Noonie.
KWTX is reporting that a foster home has been found for the Ft. Hood Solder's dog, who was abandoned by his ex-girlfriend.
Noonie ended up at the pound, and was going to be eligible to be adopted again if the current owner didn't come claim her.
A woman from Killeen named Vanessa heard about the situation and has stepped up and offered her home as a foster home until the soldier, Elijah Christmas, comes back from Korea. She has a German Sheppard puppy, and she says the two are getting along great.
It seems that even more people are helping out by donating food, a collar, a bed, and even future vet visits to Noonie. If you'd like to help out, you can contact Sylvia with Central Texas Lost & Found Pets at 254-548-99-75.
Everyone loves a happy ending.
