First Indoor Gun Range Breaks Ground in Killeen
Owners of a new indoor gun range celebrated their new beginning by breaking ground along Fort Hood street Friday.
The Gun Range will open next spring at 2401 S. Ft. Hood Street.
That's a great photo the Killeen Daily Herald shared on social media (above). A nice group of about 30 supporters showed up for the groundbreaking, and owner Paul Doyle told the KDH that, "We are proud to welcome our community to the very first-ever indoor gun range (in Killeen). This is a place that’s fun, safe, and built for the whole family to enjoy."
According to Doyle customers can rent and buy firearms, and sign up for safety classes and concealed carry licenses.
The Gun Range will offer a virtual reality projector that produces "bad guys", a tv lounge and a snack bar. Paul Doyle told the newspaper he believed Killeen deserved a safe environment to practice firearms safely and that he is ready to provide that for central Texas.
