Four families in Temple were caught by the horrible year that is 2016

KWTX is reporting that four families, a total of 10 people, were displace Thursday morning as a fire erupted in their four-plex building. Thankfully no injuries were reported.

At 5:40 a.m. Thursday morning Temple firefighters were called to the Saulsbury Apartments, 2301 Valley Forge Drive, after smoke and flames were seen coming from the building. By the time the first unit arrived it seemed the second story was fully engulfed in flames. The blaze was reported to be under control by 6:35 a.m.

The American Red Cross was assisting the displaced families as the building was determined to be a total loss. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined at this time.
