City of Temple Parks and Recreation Department is hosting 3 Spring Break programs. Two week long camps and a one day camp.

 

Camp Adventure has become a Spring Break tradition at the Wilson Park Recreation Center. Campers experience activities like archery, hiking, a rock climbing wall, and group games with new friends. Camp Adventure will be held Monday through Friday, March 16th - 20th from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the recreation center. Cost for the camp is $12 per day for ages 5-14. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch daily.

 

Spring Break Sports Camp is new this year. This camp is designed to introduce a wide variety of sports to beginner athletes and to help perfect the skills of those with a little more experience. Each day of camp will feature a different sport. The cost for the camp is $50 for the week and will be held March 16th - 20th from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. for ages 6-12. Sports will include baseball/softball, basketball, golf, football, and volleyball. The location of the camp will vary daily depending on the sport of the day.

 

Survival in the Woods is a one day camp that will teach children the basics of surviving in the outdoors.  Tuesday, March 17th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Wilson Park Recreation Center (2205 Curtis B. Elliot Dr.). Cost is $9 for children ages 7-14.
