Uninsured children aged 17 and under, can get free dental care from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday at Kool Smiles, 1100 Lowes Blvd in Killeen. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with a prescreening.
Treatment will be limited to children who have no dental insurance and no Medicaid.
Treatments include dental exams, limited emergency care, extractions, fillings, and baby tooth root canals and crowns.
Treatment will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If more people show up than the staff can see Sunday, Kool Smiles will give patients referrals to other dental clinics in the area that also help with free or low-cost care.
Free dental care for insured children will also be offered at Kool Smiles in Waco on Sunday Feb 22, from 8 am - noon. The clinic address is 529 N. Valley Mills Dr.
