On Saturday, June 13, the City of Killeen will be holding a birthday bash for the Army from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Historic District of Downtown Killeen on Avenue D between 4th Street and 8th Street (click for map).
Attractions include a cake cutting ceremony, vendors of all kinds that provide services to active duty and retired military, food trucks, military art displays, and a Kids’ Zone! Plus, live entertainment by the soulful sounds of the Voices of Unity and Austin’s The New Waves, a display of new cars from All American Chevrolet, motorcycles, a BBQ Cook Off and a dunking booth.
Public parking will be available throughout Downtown for the event.
