Nothing better on a chilly day that comfort food from the slow cooker.

Every January people find themselves "detoxing" from the holiday food.

I find the best way to get the dressing out of your colon is to bombard the body with comfort food. Nothing says comfort like a recliner. Well the recliner of the food world is Chicken Parmesan with pasta.

If you've got 4 hours, then load up the crock pot with a few breasts of chicken. Spice them up. Pour in some sauce and cook on high for 4 hours.

During that time cook up some pasta. You can choose whatever you want. Angel Hair, Spaghetti, Penne, Elbow, whatever you have lying around.

Once the 4 hours are up, shred the chicken in the bowl. Pour in the cooked pasta. Mix. Add cheese, again, your choice. Put the cover back on and warm until the cheese melts.

Put in a movie and dish up.
