Everyone hates being woken up in the middle of the night, but imagine being woken up by the sound of gunfire.

Our news partner, News Channel 10, reports that someone with what they described as an assault-style rifle opened fire on a home in the 1200 block Illinois Avenue in Killeen around 3:30 AM Thursday.

No one was hurt, but the bullets did break a lot of glass which injured one woman inside of the house. Other residents home at the time included a 10-year-old girl and an elderly relative.

Police have not identified any suspects or motives at this time

Detectives are searching bullet casings for any fingerprints that would help lead to the identity of the shooter. Police said approximately 30 rounds were fired.
