Bill Nye Brings Weird Science, And Steps, To Dancing With The Stars

Bill Nye, a former Mechanical Engineer for Boeing, used to teach science to kids for Disney and PBS from 1993 to 1998.  Now he's bringing the geek, and low scores, to "Dancing with the Stars".  During the first performance he did the ChaCha with his partner Tyne.

He was a crowd favorite, but the judges are swimming in the shallow end of the pool and only vote high for "Pretty People". Boo Bruno and the other idiot whose name I don't want to take the time to know.  Does Bill Nye need this headache? NO! He assisted in making a Sundial that went to Mars for goodness sake.  But in the end he was called the "Heart of the Show".  He'll get at least one more performance next week.
