When you play the hits, you always look forward to adding more blasts from the past. Here's some of the best we brought back in 2017.

We added a few song back in March of 2016. These were the ones that I was most happy to see again.

  • Meatloaf

    I'd Do Anything for Love

This was part of your memories from 1993. The song itself was a recall to the Bat Out of Hell Lp. This one, was Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell. And like the songs from the first LP, it was, what I like to call, Broadway Rock. Everyone was answering the question of the title during fights.

"Oh Hell No! That. That right there. That's what I won't do."

It won Meatloaf a Grammy so it couldn't be all bad.

  • Badfinger

    Baby Blue

This hit came straight out of the 70s, but found new life thanks to Breaking Bad. This was the song that played when we said goodbye to a show that loved to shock. In fact, the show is what I think about now when I hear this hit from 1972.

  • Tal Bachman

    She's So High

This hit comes back after a big stay in 1999. Tal is the son of Rock royalty...Randy Bachman from the Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdive (BTO)

This song was fun to try and sing along to. Not many people could hit the high note on "High".

  • Talk Talk

    It's My Life

Some people think this was a No Doubt song, but it was an 80s hit.  True, it wasn't the biggest hit, but it had an effect on those who heard it. Most people heard it in the clubs, as it was a number one hit on the Club Play Chart.

  • Proclaimers

    I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)

Everyone loved this hit from 1988. It had a great beat, but you had to listen hard to what the hell they were singing.

"Haver" what in the world a Haver? Can you get arrested for "Havering"?

I always enjoy trying to sing along in a Scottish brogue. I found a video of the song with lyrics. Funny thing is, even the people who wrote the video gave up at some point of the chorus. The screen goes blank. It's like they just said we got no bloody clue what's being said.
