Bell County Provides Free Pet Housing for Hurricane Evacuees
Bell County Animal Control is providing free housing for pets of hurricane evacuees who are being sheltered in the area.
With all the new pets staying in the facility, the need for donations of food and other pet supplies is pretty urgent. The amount of food needed to keep up with all of the newcomers has shot up from 80 pounds per week to 180 pounds.
While there have been plenty of donations coming in already, any additional food and supplies will go a long way in making sure everyone's animals are cared for.
Donations can be dropped off at Bell County Animal Control at 2509 S Loop 121 in Belton.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making sure everyone affected by the hurricane has the supplies they need.
