Bay City Roller is Not Guilty of Vehicular Homicide

In case you don't remember, it was on this day in 1975 that a lead singer skated on vehicular homicide charges. 

The lead singer was Les McKeown of the Bay City Rollers.  He was charged with striking and killing 76 year old Euphemia Clunie in May of the previous year.  The court ruled that Clunie was walking very erratically.  Yes, she moved into it.

Les was charged with reckless driving, fined 150 pounds, and had his license suspended for a year.
