5th Annual Growing the Game Golf Tournament Needs Sponsors

City of Temple is asking for sponsors for one of it's most favorite event.

April 28th Sammons Golf Course will host the 5th Annual Growing the Game Golf Tournament. The event benefits Junior Golf in Temple and the surrounding areas.

Your business can be a sponsor, and you'll be helping kids learn the game of golf, providing clubs, and teaching tools.

Sammons Golf Course Director, Jeff Ward says..."Golf is a great outdoor activity that both parents and children can enjoy together, while learning the rules and structure of the game."

If you want to enter to play the tournament, hurry, spots are limited and are filling up fast. Entry fee is just $75 per player, and with that you'll get a round of golf, cart rental, breakfast, lunch and a goody bag.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishing teams. 1st place prize are Scotty Cameron Putters for each player. 2nd and 3rd place teams will receive prizes as well.
