Temple police are investigating a fourth shooting incident reported in the city since early Sunday morning.

Around 7:34 PM Tuesday, police were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of South 16th Street. There, they discovered that a man and a woman had been shot. Both were transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in stable condition.

Their identities were not made public, and no suspects had been identified Tuesday night.

Around 1:40 AM Sunday, police were dispatched to Club Heavy, 806 French Avenue, in response to a report of shots fired. A man there was injured by gunfire. He was transported to Scott & White with serious injuries.

About an hour later, police were dispatched to another shots fired call in the 800 block of North Main Street. No injuries were reported, but bullet holes were sighted in a residential structure.

Officers were dispatched to the Village at Meadowbend Apartments, 2787 Martin Luther King Junior Drive, around 9:15 PM. Upon arrival, they found a man with a gunshot injury in the parking lot. He was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Anyone with information about the three shootings reported in the city Sunday is asked to contact police or crime stoppers.
