Trump Might be Texas Bound in April
Since there's no state tax some people think that there's big money in Texas. The President must think so, since he's coming in April with his hand out.
The Texas Tribune is reporting that President Trump will be visiting San Antonio and Houston in April to raise funds for his re-election bid in 2020.
He was here not long ago to talk up "the Wall", "the Fence", or whatever his P.R. people are calling it these days.
If you're planning a trip to Houston or San Antonio, you should still be good if you're planning on the trip to be on the weekend. El Presidente is going to screw up both those towns traffic on Wednesday, April 10th. Allegedly. So it looks like it'll be a quick hit in Texas. Fly in. Spew some hate. Fly out.
Of course when he was here in mid February, there were counter gatherings with Beto O'Rourke. Will there be more anti-Trump rallies? Don't know yet if Beto, or fellow Texan, Julián Castro, will be leading them, or just making an appearance. After all, this Texas trip by Trump is just speculation at this point since the White House hasn't confirmed anything yet.
