A Texas emergency room doctor is quarantining in his backyard treehouse to protect his family from COVID-19.

According to a report from KRIS 6 News, Dr. Jason Barnes, an ER doctor at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital is self-isolating from his family by living in the family treehouse.

Dr. Barnes gives a tour of his temporary home, and I have to say, it's not too shabby! The treehouse provides all the essentials of home-life, and could even be considered by some as "glamping." Armed with a mosquito net, bug spray, and a bug zapper, Dr. Barnes is adjusting nicely.

Living in Texas, we all know that air conditioning is a necessity, so it isn't surprising to see that Dr. Barnes reached out to an electrician to have an AC unit installed in the tree house. The quarantine crib also features a cedar-made bed, a portable toilet, and a small cooler that poses as a mini fridge.

Jennifer Barnes, the wife of Dr. Barnes, captioned the video by saying, "We felt that the safest way to navigate this pandemic was to have my husband not live in the house with us. So he came up with a plan to quarantine himself... in our TREEHOUSE 😂. We are taking this situation seriously and greatly miss having Daddy in the house. However, we all need a little humor in our lives right now!"

Big round of applause to Dr. Barnes for saving lives inside and out of his home!
