The Temple Mall was forced to close temporarily in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, but they have recently re-opened their doors.

According to a press release from the Temple Mall, the shopping center opened its doors on Wednesday, May 13 with new hours. The Temple Mall will now be open Wednesday-Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

While the shopping center has re-opened, there are a couple of changes to be aware of. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the Temple Mall will be closed for cleaning and sanitation. Children under the ages of 16 will also not be permitted at the mall without a parent or guardian that is over the age of 21.

The food court and the children's play area will remain closed, and some stores inside the mall will remain closed as well. The Temple Mall is asking that all shoppers wear a face mask when inside for the safety of other customers and workers.

The shopping center will not be opening early for mall walkers, but the 10 AM to 11 AM will be,"designated as the hour for the elderly and most vulnerable patrons to shop or mall walk."

The Temple Mall would like to remind all patrons that a maintaining a social distance will be enforced, and that those who do not wish to comply will be asked to leave the premises.
