Pretenders leader Chrissie Hynde has collaborated with the Pet Shop Boys' Neil Tennant on a new version of "Let's Get Lost," a track from the recent Pretenders LP Alone.

Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders started their package tour Oct. 25 in Phoenix, with Nicks delving deep into her catalog for a number of songs that hadn't been played live in years — or ever.

Chrissie Hynde and co. will work during some days off from their tour with Stevie Nicks.

Pretenders fans have their first taste of the band's upcoming Alone LP courtesy of its freshly debuted first single, "Holy Commotion!"

Sometimes, it's all about being in the right place at the right moment. Other times, it's all about a good anecdote. The Violent Femmes' origin story includes elements of both.
