The city is helping those who served find their furry friends easier than ever before.

Got some old towels lying around the house? Don't throw them out. Donate them to the Animal Shelter Friday, November 15 and they'll put them to good use.

The Temple Animal Shelter was kind enough to let myself and our on-staff dog whisperer Hadley visit the shelter and meet some of the pups who are waiting for their holiday miracle.
