Police continue to search for a mom who went missing last week near Dallas.

According to the Associated Press, people who know 26-year-old Prisma Denisse Peralta Reyes knew something was wrong when she failed to pick up her 6-year-old son from his babysitter Wednesday, April 17.

Reyes' brother, Rudy Peralta, told WFAA-TV "I just knew that wasn't her", and said Reyes' child is "her world".

According to that WFAA report, Reyes was captured on surveillance footage (embedded below) at an East Dallas apartment complex that day. Her Jeep was discovered at the apartment building, but there was no sign of the woman.

In the footage, Reyes is seen speaking to someone on speakerphone while pacing in front of an elevator. Police say they've spoken with the person she was talking to, but haven't released details about that conversation.

We know Mesquite isn't just a quick drive up the road, but if you happen to have any information that might be helpful you're asked to contact the Mesquite Police Department at (972) 285-6336.

If nothing else, we can at least pray for her safe return and reunion with her son.
