National Star Wars Day

Yea, it's the day to be disappointed. Tis the day for all Star War fans to walk around town saying...

"May the 4th be with you."

...and then laugh hysterically because nobody's heard that one yet.

Ha!

If you were wondering how the phrase started, well, it's British in origin. It seems that back in 1979, The London Evening News congratulated Britain's first female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, on her first day of office with the headline...

"May the Fourth Be with You, Maggie. Congratulations."

Feel free to watch a few of the Star Wars movies. Which one? Well that's all up to you. Do you want goodness? Then pop in Empire Strikes Back.

If you want sappy craptastic goodness, with a horrible child actor, then its The Phantom Menace for you.

If you want a little Game of Thrones, then pop in Solo. How is the woman so beautiful?

Emilia Clarke. The look of pure innocence, with a twinkle of sexual confidence. Oh, and a smile that will brighten the world.

Sorry. Went to a lustful place there for a moment. Who knew. I thought I was too old for that sort of thinking.

This Christmas we're going to get our hopes up too high again, and will likely walk away disappointed.
