Police have released photos of a man who they need to speak to about a recent murder in Killeen.

According to a press release from the Killeen Police Department, a man who was shot in the head succumbed to his injuries just two days later. Police are determined to find the person responsible and need the public's assistance identifying a person of interest in the case.

Authorities were called to the 1300 block of Fairview Dr. in reference to a shooting on September 14. Upon arrival they found Jonathon Allen Hampton, 24, of Killeen, with a gunshot wound to the head at approximately 2:19 AM. Hampton was flown to Baylor Scott and White in Temple but later died on September 16.

An autopsy was ordered to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.

Officials have released images of an individual wanted for questioning related to this offense. This individual also owns, or had access to, the white Volvo S60 pictured in the security footage.
