It is happening, El Paso: Starbucks has officially announced that the Pumpkin Spice Latte is returning on August 26, 2025. For the rest of the country, this signals the cozy start of fall. For us? It means we are drinking hot lattes in 100-degree heat while pretending we live in Vermont. Seasonal denial never tasted so good.

Starbucks Fall Menu 2025 in El Paso

Along with the classic PSL, El Paso locations will also offer the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, both designed for those of us who would burst into flames if we drank hot coffee at noon. The Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte is also back, perfect for anyone who thinks pumpkin spice is too basic but still wants to join the seasonal cult.

Starbucks is also dropping two new items: the Pecan Oatmilk Cortado, made with three ristretto shots of Blonde Espresso and steamed milk, and the Italian Sausage Egg Bites, which sound less “fall” and more “desperate breakfast run,” but hey, options are options.

Dunkin’ Joins the Pumpkin Party Early

Not to be outdone, Dunkin’ jumped in earlier this year, bringing its fall menu back on August 20. El Paso locations are already stocked with the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, the Pumpkin Sugar Cookie Iced Coffee, and even the gloriously named Pump’d Up Frozen Coffee. If that was not enough, Dunkin’ also has pumpkin donuts, muffins, munchkins, and the mighty Pumpkin Loaf, ensuring you can pair your drink with something equally spiced and sugar-heavy.

El Paso, It’s Fake Fall, Drink Accordingly

Here in the Borderland, the PSL is less about crisp mornings and more about psychological warfare against the desert sun. Order it iced at noon, hot in the rare chilly morning, or with enough whipped cream to count as dessert. Whether you are team Starbucks or team Dunkin’, one thing is clear: fall in El Paso begins when that first pumpkin cup hits your hand, not when the leaves change.
