The results of fans traveling near and far were jam-packed hotels, busy restaurants and late-night Uber rides that actually had surge pricing. The city felt the Coldplay ripple effect across every sector.

According to The Economic Times, this tour officially became the most attended tour by a group in music history with over 10 million tickets sold! So, El Paso was a part of that record-breaking moment.

El Paso Hotels Hit 95% Occupancy Thanks to Coldplay’s Tour

Hotels saw historic highs, with occupancy soaring from 24% to 95% on Friday and 94% on Saturday. That’s not just impressive, that’s record-shattering. Local businesses were thriving, tourists were able to see how beautiful our Sun City is, and the city proved it can handle a mega event with the best of them.

If this concert taught us anything, it’s that El Paso is ready for more. More big names, more world tours, more spotlight. So to every major artist out there: don't sleep on El Paso. (Post Malone, I’m looking at you!!!)
