Texas’ Favorite Thanksgiving Dessert Isn’t What You’d Expect

Pumpkin Pie: It’s no surprise that Pumpkin Pie is the undisputed champion of Thanksgiving desserts, taking the crown in 38 states. Whether it’s topped with whipped cream or served on its own, this cozy classic brings a taste of fall to the table with every bite.

Apple Pie: Meanwhile, folks up north keep it traditional with Apple Pie, the second most popular choice, beloved in seven states. I guess I need to move up north because I LOVE some Apple Pie, especially with vanilla bean ice cream on top!

And then, there’s Texas- The step-child when it comes to favorite pie:

Pecan Pie: In true Lone Star fashion, Texans stand apart, crowning Pecan Pie as their Thanksgiving favorite. Along with four other states, they just can’t resist that nutty, caramel goodness that screams Southern comfort.
