Road Rage and Wrong Text Lands Texas Man Under Arrest
Police in San Antonio, Texas arrested a 21-year-old man who was mistakenly added to a family group text- and then attempted to purchase their baby! The attempted baby purchase came before the 21-year-old man had also gone on a road rage shooting earlier this month!
Jose Israel Teran Jr. was charged with prohibition of the purchase and sale of human organs in addition to one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon from a shooting earlier this week, records with the Bexar County Jail show.
In the road rage shooting that happened earlier this week, happened along I-35 northbound near the Thousand Oaks Drive exit. Teran was driving a sedan and ended up pulling out a gun and shot at a man inside a semi-truck! The two vehicles then crashed, and the driver of the semi-truck was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Teran was arrested for the road rage shooting and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Luckily, no other vehicles were involved in that incident. However, back in December, Teran was already in hot water when he was added to a text thread where he tried to purchase their baby!
The family was discussing a nine-month-old's baptism, when the suspect texted, "That's a nice Caucasian baby how much you want?" He claimed he was serious, and tried to buy the baby for $500K- cash or bitcoin! When asked about the attempted baby purchase, Teran told police that he thought the text was spam!
Seems like San Antonio has one very dumb, but dangerous, criminal on their hands, however, I can believe his claim that he thought the text thread was spam- I get those all the time! However, there's no excuse for the road rage shooting!
