The Most Popular Anti-Christmas Movie Texans Will Watch
Tis the season for snuggling up on the couch while enjoying your favorite cheerful holiday movies!
While many resort to familiar favorites like 24 hours straight of "A Christmas Story", many Texans are straight up ditching the holiday classics and instead watching one of the biggest horror movies ever!
In a new survey by the team of research and technology experts over at The HostingAdvice decided to carry out a survey of 3,000 Americans to find out which ‘anti-Christmas’ movies Texans plan on streaming instead of watching an oversized elf travel to New York to find his biological father!
Coming in at the top spot was none other than "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
That is a completely different direction from holly and jolly! The HostingAdvice says of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and Texans:
Claiming the top spot among Texans is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), a brutal horror classic that trades in yuletide tidings for relentless terror. The film follows a group of friends who, while traveling through rural Texas, stumble upon a family of cannibals led by the infamous Leatherface. Known for its raw intensity and gritty realism, this movie redefined the horror genre and made audiences think twice about road trips through remote areas. It’s the perfect pick for anyone looking to completely obliterate the warm and fuzzy vibes of the holiday season.
Is it a coincidence that Texans chose a movie with the word "Texas" in the title? I think not!
Coming in at number two is the 2015 holiday classic "Gremlins" which does have more of a holiday theme, and following that is "Krampus" which has become a horror-holiday classic in recent years!
