Texas has many specialties and delicacies when it comes to desserts well known across the state, and many of them highlight a simple delight that is loved almost unanimously, chocolate. Even people who are allergic to chocolate are likely to tell you it is worth the risk, and do you at find it reasonable to try and put any faith into someone who "claims" to dislike chocolate?

I am not kidding, if you ever meet someone who legitimately does not like chocolate, you should put them through a thorough review. I am talking CIA level vetting here because that claim along makes them completely sus.
This 24/7 Wall Street article blasts Mars, the Mars family, and pretty much everything about the company's existence for a variety of reasons, but front and center is their use of chocolate purchased from high conflict areas. Think Blood Diamond, but chocolate beans instead.

Apparently Mars has been making promises to stop doing businesses in such ways since the turn of the millennium, but yet here we are with reports like this,
"In 2017, it was discovered that Mars was sourcing cocoa from illegal farms in protected national parks in the Ivory Coast and Ghana."
Even with all the negative press and active boycotts, it is nearly impossible to find a single store that sells chocolate bars that doesn't include the Mars brand.
