Texas is still searching for fall with our mid to upper 90 degree days still rolling along as we enter the first official day of fall this weekend, but the rest of the country is ignoring what the thermometer is reporting and moving forward with all things fall including the new drink menu at Starbucks. I will be the first to say I almost never drink coffee, and it is even more rare to ever order anything from Starbucks, however, my wife Lindsay is an expert and will do more than her share to carry the order load for the entire family.

I honestly do not mean to speak out of turn here, but if you drink Starbucks specialty drinks, can you honestly say that you even like real coffee? I'd much rather have an Americano, espresso, or drip of black coffee and taste the stuff than trying to learn chemistry with a specialty latte.

Yes, the specialty drinks taste great because they are supposed to, but personally they all taste like a melted coffee float, and real ice cream is way superior any day.

So, the jury is still out on whether or not I will try the new Starbucks Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte. Even if I do, my order will definitely be Pecan Crunch "Real" Milk Latte.
