Houston, Texas is preparing itself once again for the chance of at least a level one hurricane to enter their area and make landfall in the next couple of days. Even if the full force of Hurricane Francine does not slam into the Texas coast, all of the expected rainfall in the region is already causing concern for a metro that is prone to flooding, and has had plenty of days underwater as of late.

Last week weather aware Texans were paying close attention to the tropical disturbance mentioned in the article above that was just hovering off the Gulf Coast, and now that disturbance and its elevated moisture is being pulled into the elements that are combining to create Hurricane Francine.

The temperatures turned a bit more mild over the weekend, and weather experts are encouraging you to take advantage of this calmer weather to prepare because this storm will be here in far less time than most.
