Dumb Costco Butter Recall Now Has Texas Churning
Texas has 42 Costco locations according to their website, and more are being constructed including the largest for the Lone Star State expected to be open in West Midland by late 2026. Costco is best known for their bulk size retail items that fluctuate between luxury and name brands to their very own line of Kirkland products, which will be celebrating 30 years of sales next year.

Why is Costco recalling about 80,000 pounds of butter across Texas and the USA?
Turns out what is not listed in the ingredients, or omitted from the label can be just as problematic as all of the items that are used to create your food. Somewhere in the process of labeling the Kirkland butter, the "contains milk" warning did not make the final cut.

That is correct, they are pulling all of the butter without the warning from shelves because someone, somewhere might accidentally purchase butter and not realize it is made from milk? Never mind, ya know, that those people are often looking for the butter that is labeled, "Dairy free."

I am going to go ahead and assume that you will get the same results as previous consumption because the product did not change, only the label. Also, you probably should expect a whole lot of zero people rushing to Costco to return their recalled butter.
