What car seats are being recalled?
According to this AP News article, Nuna Baby Essentials is recalling over 600,000 child, car, safety seats after learning that models sold between 2017 and 2023 have a flaw that can compromise the harness.
Texas Now Included In Massive Child Car Seat Recall
Nuna is owned by a Tawainese company, so this recall likely has an impact in much more than just Texas and the United States, but also potentially across the planet.
Apparently, this recall potentially would not have even been made if it had not been for several concerned residents reaching out the the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in October, and that began an investigation into the quality of the car seat.

Nuna fancies their self as a luxury brand, and their products are well beyond the price point for my family, but it goes to show you that quality is most important in any purchase, and even the high dollar brands are not always superior or beyond compromise.
