Temple, Texas continues to be one of the fastest growing cities not only in the Lone Star State, but for the entire United States with everyone from the local independent school districts to neighborhoods to retail spaces anticipating major expansion. One of my wife's favorite stores to shop is Marshalls, and pretty soon one of their other major sister spaces will be opening next door.

Marshalls is part of the TJX Companies family, and they operate 4 other very similar retail businesses across the United States and Puerto Rico, T.J. Maxx, HomeSense, Sierra, and HomeGoods that will soon be opening right next door to the Marshalls off Southeast HK Dodgen Loop in Temple.

According to this KCEN article, we do not have a specific date to expect HomeGoods to be open, but they are hosting a hiring event right after St. Patrick's Day, March 18th through the 20th. If you check their website, the Temple store is not listed among the pending grand openings, but you know they cannot be too far away if they're already trying to get staffing in place.

You can see that once HomeGoods opens within the old Bed, Bath & Beyond space, it will look perfectly at home next to their sister store Marshalls. Currently, on either side of Marshalls and the new HomeGoods locations are a Ross Dress For Less and Ulta, so they better keep their sales up, or we just might see the trifecta of T.J. Maxx moving in too.
