Update: As of 6:50am, another listener named Brenda, called into the show and let us know that I-35 southbound was not completely shut down at the location of the accident. There are currently two lanes open, but the flow of traffic is still severely impacted.
This morning around 6:15am, a listener named Charles, called Noah and Mitch in the Morning on US 105 to report that I-35 Southbound near Salado was closed off due to an accident involving two semi-trucks.

This accident follows another incident involving a semi-truck just three days ago. On March 3rd, a truck hauling a load of gravel overturned at mile marker 290 heading northbound. That crash resulted in northbound traffic being shut down on I-35 completely from about 11:00am that day until after 1:30PM.
