🎙️ Infowars Reporter Victim of Homicide

On Sunday, March 9th, an employee of the controversial web show Infowars was the victim of a homicide in Austin. The employee, Jamie White, was a reporter for Infowars for several years.

🚨 Late-Night Call: "Shoot-Stab" Incident

Just before midnight on Sunday, police were called to the Chandelier Apartments on the 2300 block of Douglas Street in Austin which is located just off of East Oltorf Street and Interstate 35. The officers were responding to what is known as a "shoot-stab" hotshot. This is a code for an assault resulting in someone either being shot or stabbed.

💔 Fatal Shooting: Jamie White Dies

When the police arrived at the scene, they found Jamie White in the parking showing obvious signs of Trauma. EMS transported Jamie to the hospital where it was determined that he had been shot multiple times. Despite the best efforts of the hospital staff, he succumbed to his injuries.

🕵️ Car Burglary Suspected: Suspects at Large

Detectives believe that White was killed while someone was attempting to burglarize his car. The suspects took off after the shooting, and the police have not released any information about suspects including a description.

He has also said, "We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice. Jamie’s important work will be carried on through InfoWars, our readers, and our cherished listeners."
