Houston, Texas had multiple first responder teams called to assist just before 1 AM Sunday morning because a massive amount of gunfire took place at a party that has left at least one person dead, and fifteen others injured with many still in critical condition at last report. The casual Texas gathering turned violent when an uninvited person was asked to leave and as they did, they allegedly opened fire on the crowd.

One person shot was an 18 year old male, and they were pronounced dead at the hospital. According to this KHOU article, the other victims range in age from 16 to 40, and it is not known the exact status of each victim.

Even though only one suspect has been named as instigating the gunfire, other party attendees also returned fire, with police saying the shooting was still ongoing when they arrived on the scene about three minutes after the call was made. At this time, the identity of the suspect has not been disclosed and Houston Police are seeking the community's assistance.

The last thing anyone wants is for someone responsible for this much carnage and at least one murder to be walking freely the streets of Houston, or the surrounding area.
