Texas Voters Are Unhappy With Kamala Harris, Here’s Why

According to NBC News, on July 21, 2024, the 46 President Joseph Robinette Biden reported dropping out of the presidential race. Texas and the rest of the United States have begun to prepare for the next presidential runnings and have realized that Vice President Kamala Harris will now be running for the presidency. If Kamala Harris is made president of the United States, this will be a moment in history. She will be the first woman president ever, which causes a big deal. But the reality of it is voters are not here to make history happen, voters, voters should want real-life situations resolved.

TEXAS IS NOT OKAY WITH VICE PRESIDENT

According to ABC Seven News, Kamala may have the support of some states but Texas voters are not impressed with the vice president. The University of Houston and Texas Southern recent data reports that Harris is given a net negative approval rating of -14 points in the great state, 15 points behind, former president, Donald J Trump, and also three points fewer than President Joe Biden. Mark P Jones, who is a political science professor at Rice. University stated that virtually all public opinion surveys reveal that Kamala Harris is underwater with Texas voters that her unfavorable ratings are higher than her favorable ratings and that pretty much hasn’t changed over time. Most of the voters in Texas find her unfavorable with 43% saying she’s very unfavorable. This was according to the polling from the Texas Politics project in June.

CAN KAMALA HARRIS WIN THIS?

There will be two different demographics in which Vice President Kamala is performing significantly well according to the Texas Politics project. Voters under 30 give her a net approval of 23% and also black voters have a net approval rating of 45 points.
