Police say that a 23-month-old child was not only slammed into his crib but also slapped for not giving Craig a "good night" kiss. That's right—because the child didn't want to give the 41-year-old man a kiss, he felt it was appropriate to slam and slap the child.

Looking at this story, could you blame the 23-month-old child? No one should ever be hit for something that makes them feel uncomfortable. The incident took place in the 200 block of W. Anderson Ave., where the domestic violence complaint was filed. Because the child refused to give the man a kiss, he was accused of slapping the innocent baby on the buttocks and back before dragging him into the bedroom. Once in the bedroom, he allegedly slammed the child into the bed and pinned him down to prevent him from reaching the person who eventually wrote the incident report.

Since Monday, Jones has remained in the Bell County Jail, with his bond set at $82,500. We are supposed to protect our children, not harm them—especially for something as trivial as a good night kiss.
