Police Find Massive Amount Of Nitrous In Texas Dentist’s Car After Being Pulled Over

A dentist in the state of Texas was recently pulled over by police. However, what the police found is not what they expected. Here's what is known at the time of writing.

Why Was A Dentist In The State Of Texas Get Pulled Over In The First Place?

According to The Independent, the dentist's name is Christopher Michael Pedlar. As revealed by law enforcement, the situation began after Pedlar was caught speeding in Harris County. He was driving 44 miles per hour, which was 14 over the speed limit of 30.

Police then attempted to pull to him over, but Pedlar attempted to evade the police. After police finally pulled him over, they found a staggering amount of nitrous inside the vehicle. The total overall was 107.

Police also discovered that two of the nitrous canisters, per court documents, happened to be “extremely cold." This indicated to officers that Pedlar has been using them not long ago.

What Did Pedlar Say To Officers During Questioning?

As revealed by ABC13 Houston, an officer stated the following:

"When they questioned him, he admitted to inhaling the gas...The defendant told the officer he has a problem and had been using it all day."

However, this isn't the first time Pedlar has had issues with police, or with nitrous canisters. In the previous four months, Pedlar was caught three times with canisters. In another moment with police, Pedlar was found with 112 canisters in his car.

At the time of writing, many misdemeanor charges have been brought forth against Pedlar. They are two counts of possession of a volatile chemical, fleeing a police officer, interfering with a public servant, and possession of inhalant paraphernalia, according to ABC13 Houston.
