
Man in Texas Steals Ambulance He Allegedly Called For, Crashes Into Tree
One man in Texas now faces multiple charges for his actions regarding an ambulance in the state he was purported to have stolen, Here's what is known at the time of writing.
How Did The Alleged Crime Occur?
As reported by KXAN, on Monday March 10th, 2025 an individual placed a call for medical services. According to law enforcement, the person requested the ambulance for a medical health problem. However, the situation changed dramatically once the vehicle reached the hotel where the person was located.
Grant Saline, the person in question, was purported to have illegally taken the ambulance when it stopped at the hotel he summoned it to. Following the ambulance being taken, police began attempting to locate where the vehicle in question was. The ambulance was found in 2200 block of County Road 203 Loop, in Cameron, Texas.

What Happened Following Of The Discovery Of The Ambulance?
Saline, after both him and the vehicle were found made an attempt to run from law enforcement. The chase, described as “short, off-road" ended following Saline colliding the vehicle into a tree. Police then took Saline into custody following an examination for any injuries.
Saline faces multiple charges for his actions:
- aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a peace officer
- evading arrest in a vehicle and criminal mischief
- unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
- unlawful restraint
Additionally, KXAN revealed more charges could be brought against Saline. At the time of writing, none have been reported. As this is developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
