Killeen Families: Start a New Tradition at the Turkey Trot 5K on November 1
The City of Killeen has announced that it's time for the annual Turkey Trot 5K! Killeen’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the event on Saturday, November 1, at 8:00 AM at Stonetree Golf Club, located at 1600 Stone Tree Dr.

This event plays an important role in the community, as it is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series, which raises funds to support the Killeen Food Care Center.

Alaciel Maldonado, Recreation Coordinator and organizer of the Cen-Tex Race Series, shared that the Turkey Trot is “a great way to start the season of giving while also promoting the value of recreation in our community.” She added, “Running brings people together, builds healthy habits, and supports an important cause that provides food for families in need.”I couldn’t agree more—this event is always fun and festive!
