Killeen High School Officially Welcomes New Head Football Coach
For more than 20 years, Roderick Sneed has done the job he loves as an assistant coach. Now, that's about to change. According to KCENT, it was recently announced that Sneed has been named the new head football coach at Killeen High School, an opportunity he has been anticipating for a long time.

Here's What Coach Sneed Said About The Timing
Sneed said patience has been one of the biggest lessons he's learned throughout his coaching career, dating back to his days as a player at the University of Colorado. When you're playing college football, and you're in that environment, you have to have a lot of patience because not everything is going to go the way you want it to," Sneed said.
He added, "You just keep going to work. One of the main things for me now in the coaching world is staying focused and being patient. When things happen, they happen for a reason. You have to wait your turn and hope you've earned everything you've been given." That's exactly what's happening for Coach Sneed, as he prepares to begin the new school year as Killeen High School's head football coach.
Congratulations to You, Coach Sneed!
There is already plenty of excitement surrounding the program, and many believe Coach Sneed has a promising future leading the Kangaroos. It should make for an interesting football season. Congratulations, Coach!
