
Planning Ahead: Killeen City Hall Shut Down July 4th
The City of Killeen released a statement today, June 30, announcing that city offices will be closed on Friday in observance of the Independence Day holiday. This means that trash routes normally scheduled for Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4, will run a day early. All other collection services will remain on their regular schedule.

Fourth of July: Killeen Government Services Unavailable
The Recycling Center and all solid waste facilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4. Additionally, the Family Recreation Center and the Lions Club Park Senior Center will be closed. However, the Family Aquatic Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Long Branch Pool will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Plan Ahead: Killeen City Offices Closed on July 4th
Emergency services will not be altered and will remain available. All city offices will reopen on Monday, July 7, for normal business hours.
