Dr. King Davis has often said that strong communities build strong schools, and strong schools build strong communities—and I genuinely believe this is exactly what he will work to accomplish. With more than 30 years of experience leading school districts through leadership transitions in the Houston area, I truly feel that Dr. Davis will approach the responsibilities of this role with care—and that he will be successful.
As a parent with a child in the district, I can honestly say that I am excited to see what’s next under our new superintendent.
