Growing up in Central Texas, we kids could not wait to get a chance to see all of the beautiful light shows every holiday season. I’m so excited to tell you that we can add one more to the list, because the Central Texas College Foundation is going to host their very first Lighting Of The Bell Tower holiday event Tuesday, December 13th from 6 to 8 PM, and it’s going to be open to the public.

Come out and meet Santa and Mrs. Claus while enjoying carols, cookies, and my favorite, hot cocoa. The Central Texas Choir and Band will also grace us with great music and songs, which is the perfect setting to see all the dazzling light displays on the CTC campus.

Even though lightning of the bell tower is free and open to the public, the Central Texas College Foundation is selling VIP tickets for $50 that include VIP parking, a signature tote bag, really cool souvenir mugs, and a commemorative ornament.

This fantastic event will be hosted by KNCT-FM featuring the talented Austin bass guitarist Trevor Helt, who also performs solo acoustic sets in the Austin area and tours nationally with rare music groups.

The doors will open at 7 PM for a reception and the concert is from 7:30 PM to 9 PM. This event is an amazing opportunity to take you and your family to enjoy some Christmas cheer. I hope to see you there!
